Unbelievably grateful!

I cannot even begin to say how grateful Jeremy and I are for all of the generosity we have received.  With your incredible help, we have already raised $4,220!  Wow...how humbled we are!  We are also making headway in the paperwork. Nearly all of our home study paper work is done, and that will be a big relief!  Every other bit of paper work relies on the completion of this.

In addition to all of this generosity, there are two very specific gifts which I am so very blessed by.

Last week I saw this lovely chair for sale through Facebook.  I made a comment on how much I would enjoy it, but how I really couldn't afford to give this amount at this time. A friend saw it, and offered to purchase the chair for me! What a surprising gift!

Then this past Saturday, I was in Bishop Arts District with a friend, and saw this adorable baby gear (for 50% off).  It is of the softest material!! I was going to purchase it, and she graciously offered to buy it as a baby gift! It is little moments like this that remind me of how blessed I am by our community.

Fundraising Update

Whew...What an amazingly generous group of friends we have.  After only a weeks time, we are almost 1/10 of the way through!!! Thank you so much to those of you who have already been so generous in our endeavor! We are so humbled by the rallying support we have received.  Be on the look out for some events in the weeks/months ahead!

Big News!

We are so excited to announce that we were accepted by Faithful Adoption Consultants!

We are so impressed by their passion for serving families in and their focus on the Gospel.  I was able to speak with Courtney and she quickly answered my numerous questions with grace and enthusiasm. I left the conversation with renewed hope and anticipation! We also nailed down our home study agency!.  It was seriously such a God thing.  I'd just recently had a conversation with a friend at church, and she recommend them by saying how great they were and that they were a group of Christian women (we are just surrounding this whole experience and little one with such amazing godly groups!).  And when I talked to FAC on the phone, Courtney asked about whether or not we had done a home study. I told her we were weighing out about an agency, and she asked which one. When I told her, she highly encouraged me to go with them, and said that they have frequently worked with them! What an amazing sign from the Lord.

In addition we have also launched our adoption fundraising website.


This was the hardest thing for me to really sit down and do...the amount is massive and asking is quite humbling.  But already the Lord has been gracious in providing funds in ways we didn't expect. We are constantly humbled by his provision and excited to see what he has in store.
