What a whirlwind...

We have had quite the whirlwind of emotions lately.

Since last Tuesday we've had 4 different profiles shared with us.  We've submitted and been rejected, which often happen as many as ten or twelve times.  It is incredibly difficult to see these cases and not be the correct match, but it is also humbling to see how ornate God's plan is.  There is a beautiful organization called BraveLove and they help share the stories of the birth moms.  It is a gentle reminder of the sacrifice these women make (I'd encourage you to click the image below to hear each of these stories).

It has been and will continue to be a roller coaster of emotions. The best advice we've heard from Courtney (our FAC consultant): Don't get attached.  I must say that it is also the hardest to follow...

Please continue to be in prayer with us as we await the arrival our little one.

Waiting Excitedly

We're expectantly waiting for our precious little one, and I thought I'd give a bit more information on where we are in the process.

First of all, it can happen any day.

We will get either an email, text, or phone call from our liaison at Faithful Adoption Consultants.  If it is a mother currently in labor then it will be phone call or text to ask if we'd like to submit our paperwork that evening, and if she selects us we will get on a plane right away. But if it is a mother who has not yet reached full term, we will submit our paperwork for her viewing and wait expectantly to see if we are selected.

This is the "waiting period" and one that takes a great amount of patience.

Thank you for all of your financial support and continual prayers!!!
