From home all the way to ................................................................

............................................................... meet our birth Mama!

We are so excited to get the opportunity to love on and meet our birth Mama coming up in June! She is one incredible woman! We are so humbled by the sacrifice she is making, and we don't take this lightly.  As I consider mine own desire for pregnancy and that "feeling" of the little one kicking inside of me, it makes my heart break with the concept of going through it only to hand that precious one over to strangers.  Although I love to think that we are the "right" fit for our daughter, her mother doesn't know us at all.  And yet she has chosen us to parent and raise her child in the image of our Father. 

What a humbling gift. What a sacrifice.

How can you possibly repay such a sacrifice.  And the answer................you can't.  All that we are trying to do is love her as Christ loves us.  We are humbled by such an opportunity.

We pray that she comes to know and trust in the Lord with her whole being.  

We pray that she knows the love of our Savior.

We pray that she feels confidence in her decision and knows that her child is loved and cared for. 

We pray that we get to continue a friendship with her, and teach our daughter of her birth Mama's bravery.  

Prayers for us:
1. Please continue to pray for our funding. We've got nearly half our funds.
2. Please continue to pray for our interactions with our birth Mama, especially when we go down in June.
3. Please pray for our hearts as we wait the next 62 days (not that we're counting)...
